FEES

At Blue Door Therapy, we are committed to making high-quality psychological care as accessible as possible. To support this, our fees are set below the Australian Psychological Society's recommended rates.

There is no limit to the number of therapy sessions you can attend. While we welcome clients with Medicare referrals, including a Mental Health Treatment Plan and Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan, a referral is not required to begin therapy. Many clients choose to engage in therapy privately without accessing Medicare rebates.

While we offer sliding scale pricing, subject to each client's needs, session fees typically range from $190 to $330 for a 50-minute consultation, depending on the clinician you see.

MEDICARE REBATES​

​

Clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP may be eligible to receive:

• $145.25 rebate per session with a Clinical Psychologist

 

Medicare currently provides rebates for up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year under a Mental Health Treatment Plan. A valid referral from your GP is required to access these rebates.

Please note that couples therapy sessions are not covered by Medicare rebates.
